Background: Osteonecrosis (ON) has emerged as a debilitating complication of acute pediatric lymphoblastic leukemia (pALL), with severe pain and poor functional outcome. ON affecting weight bearing joints may eventually need arthroplasty, with large juxta-articular lesions being at highest risk.
